Decode how your body works and why you don’t feel well, then learn how you can be
in control of your health again.

If medications and surgeries haven’t helped, have you considered that that problem isn’t just in the muscles, bones or organs, but also because the brain isn’t communicating well with the body? If your brain and body are disconnected they will keep fighting. MindDoor’s programs teach your brain and body to stop fighting and start connecting.

Address both mental and physical burnout at the same time

While burnout is a mental health issue, seeing a counselor/psychologist cannot fix it alone. Burnout includes physical symptoms of chronic pain, fatigue, digestion issues, fibromyalgia, gut health issues, autoimmune conditions, anxiety, and  basically feeling sick all the time.

Learn how to reconnect your brain and body signals

You’ll learn how to calm your body signals using cranial nerve reprogramming and calm down overactive muscles, joints, and nerves with myofascial release and lymph massage you can do yourself.

Get out of constant fight/flight mode

Using a mix of neuroscience, meditation, and visualization you will essentially retrain your brain to create new feedback loops in your brain reducing pain and getting out of fight/flight mode.

At home Neurofeedback training

Neurofeedback  uses a computer program to show you what your brain signals are doing in real-time.  By wearing a special device on your head that measures that detects the brain waves in each area of the brain, you can create a picture of what needs training. This picture you see is the mirror to what your brain is doing during certain tasks.  This can help you know if you’re really working on the correct part of your brain.

MindDoor offers at home Nuerofeedback Training Sessions, which are shorter training sessions that can be done daily in the comfort of your own home.

Save over $1500 compared to in-office.
You keep the device and use it for meditation later.

Neurofeedback FAQs

What is neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback is a form of neurotherapy that trains your brainwaves to achieve a healthier state – kind of like exercise, but for your brain! Neurofeedback uses EEG technology to measure your brainwave activity and offer you feedback on your performance in real time, through visual and/or auditory cues from videos or games.

Is neurofeedback safe?

Absolutely! Neurofeedback is a safe, evidence-based therapy which has been used for decades and poses little or no side effects. Is neurofeedback invasive? Neurofeedback is a non-invasive neurotherapy. During your training sessions, electrodes will be placed on your head and scalp to measure your brain activity.

Are there any side effects to neurofeedback?

Neurofeedback training may cause very mild side effects, like slight fatigue. However, these side effects are temporary and will pass quickly. Similar to how your body feels after putting in a hard workout at the gym!  Some people may get headaches but your practitioner will help you through this if it occurs.  Brain injuries or epilespy does require special caution and it is recommended you contact your neurologist first for clearance

How does neurofeedback work?

When you’re doing a neurofeedback session, you will use a dry electrode headset, with the option of an additional electrode on your head to measure your brainwave activity. During your session, you will play games or watch videos or listen to music and receive feedback in real time regarding your performance. This lets you know when your brainwaves are in the desired state and when they’re not. Over time, these training sessions will help regulate your brainwaves and allow you to achieve your goals.

What can I use neurofeedback for?

Neurofeedback has been used to alleviate symptoms for conditions such as attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, addiction, traumatic brain injuries, and more. In addition, it has also been used to improve performance and enhance one’s overall wellbeing.

How long is a neurofeedback training session?

Sessions typically last between 15-25 minutes, on average, depending on your goals and program. Most treatment plans recommend 30-40 sessions.

Helping the Body Reconnect
with the Brain

We can help the brain stop the fight/flight/freeze response and feel safe again using  a Neuroscience based program developed by Dr. Irene Luc that focuses on cranial nerve regulation. If you have not been feeling well, you can’t just tell your body to relax and it will listen. You have to create a safe space for the brain to return to its normal signaling. This innovative program uses nerves that connect the brain to the body, specifically the vagus nerve to help identify problem areas and find solutions. This is blended with acupressure points, myofascial release and lymph massage that can help the body reduce the number of signals that the brain has to process which helps the body also feel safe.

Improve Sleep

If your sleep is interrupted by pain or other symptoms, stress or in a bad routine, then your body starts the day with less energy to heal. Brain training can help reset your circadian rhythm, the internal clock that tells you when you sleep or awake, and teach you how to turn on the sleep centers of your brain quicker.

Reduce Anxiety and Depression

When you are anxious, the most primitive parts of brain signal danger and that effects the whole body. It makes our thinking brain, or frontal lobe, not be able to work as well. Some people think that relaxing is the only way to release anxiety, but the frontal lobe  prefers to focus and problem-solve. This involves being aware of your surroundings and how your body is feeling at that moment. Brain training helps you to refocus the brain on new tasks instead of letting your thoughts get stuck in a way that makes you anxious.

Improve Focus and Attention

If you are stuck in a cycle of chronic conditions your brain energy goes to solving a lot of issues with your body and has less energy to remember events, things or ideas. It can feel like your brain is hazy, and it may take effort to put your thoughts together. It’s also common that medications also have a side effect of “brain fog.” The memory centers in the brain become out of practice. If these neurons stay inactive for too long, we start to lose them. Therefore, brain training uses practice words, numbers, and concepts to help sharpen memory again.

Help for Trauma

Brain training for trauma helps you get in touch with your five senses and what your body feels so you can remain in the present. It can be a good bridge for people who are not ready to talk about the past but can tell there are triggers in their bodies that make them angry, sad, or in pain. Counseling and brain training are combined together to help stop triggers.

Treat chronic pain using brain training.

There are many reasons why your pain might persists and there are some long (and scary sounding) names that your doctor might have used:‍

  • Fibromyalgia
  • Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)
  • Neuropathy
  • Autoimmune Conditions: Lupus, Chron’s or Ulcerative Colitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Arthritis
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • Autonomic Dysregulation: irregular heart rate, blood pressure, fainting, sweating, temperature changes

Dr. Irene Luc created a program that uses brain training to help chronic pain. This is customized to your needs and helps put your body back under the control of the brain.
